Abstract: Currently available in situ data on the phase equilibria between Si allotropes will be presented in comparison with thermodynamic simulations. The ambiguous character of triple points between solid allotropes and liquid phase will be discussed. The adjustment of the experimental melting diagram allowed to sugget p-V-T equation of state of liquid Si.
